As I was giving Jake his lunch today (of rice cereal and squash) I thought to myself, 'Now, why on earth would you even buy squash for your child when you hate squash?' So, I'm still perplexed as to why I did that...and will continue to do that. Jake likes it. I, on the other hand, specifically remember my Mom feeding us squash and she gave me a quauter size of it to eat and she made me sit there 'til it was gone...and it took a LONG time to get it eaten. Finally, sitting on the counter, I figured that if I could get it in my mouth and very quickly wash it down with my milk I wouldn't die. Squash...Yuck!

Sorry for the torment!!! How would I ever know that you would NEVER like squash? You can be thankful I didn't feed you okra - now that is something to dislike :) I wonder if they make that in baby food?
I'm afraid Jason had to eat squash also. Jake wouldn't know if he liked it or not if he never got the chance to taste it. It sounds like you've done him a big favor!!!
