Meat...NOT Milk!!! So Satisfying...So Challenging!

I tell you what...the messages we hear in church are completely MEAT!!! We love it and are challenged each week. The one today challenged us to get our momentum going on winning the victory. We have two options of momentum: Momentum going backwards in our walk with Christ and Momentum going forwards in our walk with Christ! Wow! So, each step we take is...you've guessed it...either forwards or backwards. And one of the most challenging things said? That some Christians say they are all right because they are not either...they are not going forwards and they are not going backwards. NO WAY!!! That's the worst place to be (remember the verse about being neither hot nor cold and so He will spew us out of His mouth??) Satan doesn't even worry about the ones who are standing still! Why should he? Wow! What a challenge! Jason and I were just in complete...I don't even know the word! What a GREAT challenge! To win the victory over sin (or any battle we have) we have to win the little victories each day! We have to start with winning the battles each day by anchoring in God. Then...when the huge battles come there is no question Who we are taking into battle with us and Who we are fighting it with! I pray that I fight my battles with God and that each day is lived for Him...that no amount of pressure, no amount of ridicule, no amount of anything contrary to doing His will will keep me from walking the walk and fighting the fight with Him! Jason and I praise God for our church. We praise God for the meat we receive each Sunday and Wednesday. We praise Him for being in our lives and we desire to live our lives for HIM!!!
