I had to go to the store yesterday and get some rice cereal for Jake (he refuses to eat 'real' food, as I call it). And...I saw the non-Gerber brand. I decided to give it a try. It's nearly a dollar cheaper. So, I had to feed it to him for lunch because the other ran out. Poor thing nearly starved to death 'til I gave in and we went back to the store to buy the Gerber brand cereal and some peaches to grind up and add to it. He cried and cried. His heart was broken like I've never seen before. He really did try to like it, but couldn't gag it down. But...he gobbled up the 'right' cereal with peaches!

kids are funny that way sometimes, they know we're trying to pass of the nasty stuff as "Mmm..Mmm Good"
But they know better, and people say kids aren't smart, who's laughing now
