The Big Cut!

I've noticed for quite some time now that Miss Bailey's hair has needed a trim. I have NOT done it because I do NOT want to cut her beautiful hair. Well...Jason noticed it yesterday that it needs a trim. So, this morning was the big day for ME to cut it. I chose myself because I didn't trust anyone else to cut her hair for the first time. I cut a piece of pink ribbon (to tie her first 'cut' in) and proceeded to have Bailey sit on the stool to get her hair cut. By the way...she was VERY excited about this! As I snipped a number of inches off I did my best not to cry. I had to stop myself because, for one thing, Bailey was so excited about it. And, because it really is only difficult for a parent to do...no one else really cares if you cut hair. :) So, now it's quite a bit shorter and a lot healthier looking. I will post pics later when I get some taken...this morning's been sooo busy...but that's another posting that will appear later! :)

You are very brave! I cut Amanda's hair one time and had to take her to the beauty shop to have it evened up. It turned out to be quite a bit shorter than either of us had planned.

I'm looking forward to seeing the pictures.

Yes - that is a hard (first) thing to do. I am sure that it helped that Bailey was excited. That way there were not TWO of you crying :)

I remember cutting Matt's hair when we were at bible school. I cut the top first to make him look like a bald man(like Jason:) I got a lot of good laughs out of that.
