I had been wanting to make a 'from scratch' carrot cake and so I looked on the internet Saturday and found the recipe I want with the frosting recipe I want. Today is the day! It's baking in the oven, minus the nuts (for Bailey) and minus the coconut (for Jason). I am anxious to have it tonight after Jason gets home from work! I'll let you know how it tastes! MMMM! One of my favorites as well! Ok, so you did two layers, did the top one kinda shift to one side? Mine always seems to, I never can get them to be just perfect! You will have to let me in on your secret if you can get it the way it should look!
nope...mine sunk in the middle. i don't know the trick either. so, who ever finds out will tell the other :)
