The time is NOW!

Wow! I think of that often now that I have kids. Not just because I have kids, but that does put it in the front of my mind most days! The time IS NOW! I can't even begin to express the desire to see each of our children come to know Christ! Thinking on how there is an eternal for each of us, Heaven or Hell. Which will it be? What a burden Jason and I have to teach our kids about Him, to live for Him, to KNOW Him! We don't take lightly the responsibility we have in raising them. Not to say we do the best job of anyone...we certainly need wisdom each second of the day. Teaching them can't wait for 'later'...whenever that is. It is NOW! It is today, each second of the day...in what we say, do, think etc. Everything teaches them something. For Christ...that is our ultimate goal...to teach them of Him.

I like your new blog look.

I like your good thoughts on 'the time is NOW'.

I like your remembering the flowers that froze :) (that was just a little, tiny hitch in the day)

What a great reminder! How easy it is to forget with all the hustle and bustle of everyday life. You and Jason do a great job parenting. I may be asking for advise someday! : )

Thank you Leah! God has given us as parents an unbelievable response-ability! (isn't that one word? am I spelling it wrong? I was home schooled!=)) I am so thankful that He has equipped us with Himself for the work that He has trusted us with. The time is now to use that equipping, not wait till later when we think the kids might "understand better"! They get it better than we do don't they? Believe like a child...what example they set for us!

Parenting is a tough job. Even with infants. They are always watching us and learning. I think of that quite often. It is scarey.
