I love that quote. It's in the ladies Bible study we are doing at church. I know that is true. A few years ago the Lord really grabbed ahold of Jason and I about our finances and how we manage them. We have learned that our money is God's. We must manage it well. There is no option. We had bought into the lie of always needing the best, or needing it all NOW. Truly it's a dead end. We are so blessed with what we do have. I know some people think we are crazy having moved from a 3 bed/2 bath and basement home to a two bedroom duplex with not a lot of room, but you know...we are rich! We love our little 'abode'! Truly, you are rich when you don't need more. God is so good and He makes us RICH!

That quote reminds me of the one that was in the bulletin this past Sunday. 'The happiest people don't necessarily have the best of everything; they just make the best of everything that comes along their way'. So much truth to both of those statements. I need to remind myself of that more than once.
Love the new look!!! Very "fallie" I know it's not a word, but it seemed to fit! It is very easy to get wrapped up in this worlds philosophy of bigger, better, now! Thank you for the challenge with your own life, you saw it, then did something about it, instead of seeing it and just sweeping it away. Finances are always an interesting thing here in our house!=) Isn't Jason doing a seminar at our church sometime? We would love to go to it!
This weekend is the seminar in HS. Hope you can come!
Oh, I didn't finish! Fall is one of my favorite times of the year! And I love the country/chic "look" if that is close to what you would call it! I always like going to the art festivals to see all the "country" "crafts"! Anyway! All that to say, I love your new look!=) And I love the pix you have at the top!
Yes we should be able to be there! I hope!=) If not, I'm sure we will see you on Sun.! I think I'm taking your family pictures at some point too!=)
