Made me laugh...

I opened my e-mail account and you know how you always get unwanted mail/advertisements. Well...this morning checked my e-mail and one of the subjects was 'Is your child gifted'. It made me laugh and think 'of course my children are gifted, but what parent doesn't think their own kids are gifted.' Then I thought of some of the gifts my kids have:

Bailey
Talking (oh my....she's got that gift for sure!)
Drama
Singing (she sings better than many adults!)
Spelling (she wrote 'HAPPY FALL' nearly all by herself last week. I only had to help her with a few letters)
Loves to talk about God

Tayler
Clumsiness (I hear every family has an accident prone child...she's ours. We get nervous when she starts running for fear of her falling. Last night Jason took the kids outside before church and she was walking and tripped over her own feet...)
Funny Faces (she cracks us up with her silliness)
Spelling (she knows how to write her 'T' and recognizes many other letters)
Singing (another singer!)
Sweetness

Jake
Tough (he barely cries when he gets hurt)
Gives Mommy things (when his toy ladder broke off of his fire truck he came right over to me and handed it to me to show me what happened)
Since he's so young not all of his 'gifts' have shown yet, but we think he has the gift of cuteness down really well!

So, this may be a bit of a brag fest, but that e-mail just got me to thinking about all the funny and maybe not always funny things my kids do. And the 'smart' things they do. I love them. They are all GIFTS from God!

I have to agree that your children are very gifted. They are fortunate to have a mom and dad that nurture those gifts! Keep up the good work.

That was fun to read. Gifts of Bailey, Tayler and Jake through your eyes.

I like the fall fun slides too. Leaves are so much fun for kids. Today our leaves are wet - due to rain. I guess we won't be playing in them today.

Neither of them. They all got each and every gift from their gifted uncle, Phil. I would like to listen to Bailey sing!!! I think she got that gift from her mom.

Hey...your little girl is sure a cutie! Can't wait to see pics of her in her Vikings Costume for Halloween. I'm sure she was so beautiful!
