The Tradition Continues...

Well...this being my First day of College I just HAD to take a picture in front of a 'Big Dumb Tree' as Phil and I used to call it! Mom ALWAYS had us stand in front of the 'Big Dumb Tree' for our 'first day of school' pics. And so, tradition continues! Jason called right away this morning and wished me a happy first day. Thank You!

Hi, Lee Lee!!! Glad to see you in front of a "big dumb tree." I guess this means you're BRANCHING out in you life, huh? That's good. Just don't LEAVE anything undone. Work hard at getting at the ROOT of your subjects. Well, I'm BARKING up the wrong tree, I guess.
We're proud of your new venture in life!

YEAH LEAH!!!! First day of school and I am SOOOOOOOOOO glad you are continuing the tradition of the 'first day of school picture' in front of a 'big dumb tree'. We sadly miss that tree at the place we lived when you Matt and Phil were in school. But, we are growing trees here that should be BIG and DUMB and worthy of 'first day of school pictures' by the time we have great grand-kids. :)

I can't see the picture because for some reason they won't all load when I'm at school. But, I, too, am so proud of you! It is no small thing to go back to school after you have a family. By taking a little at a time you'll have your degree in no time at all! I'm looking forward to talking to you about all the great things you are learning!

Thank you, Sheri. I'm anxious to learn and always up for a good chat!

But Phil, how can Leah have the big bangs when you aren't around to put on the finishing touch? You did that you know -
WAAAAAAAYYYYYYYY back then.
