Growing up:
I loved our Tradition of each year making flour Lefse at Christmas time. It was always so fun. Mom would get it all mixed up and rolled up and then the rest of us would join in with the rolling/putting on grill/flipping and eating. And, as Tradition goes, Dad would ALWAYS beat the Lefse turner (which Grandpa Oyen made) on the counter and Mom would then, as Tradition goes, say sweetly 'Bruce'...meaning 'STOP!!! Your Dad made that and we don't want to break it!' LOVE that memory.
Being Married:
Just having started doing Christmas on our own here at our home (oh, that rhymes!) I love our Tradition of the kids opening Grandparents gifts on Christmas Eve and then putting them to bed and seeing the excitement in the morning of Christmas when they come out from there rooms. I love to spend the morning opening some gifts, eating breakfast, then opening the remainder. We also read the Christmas story.
New Family:
I love the memory of having an early Christmas at Gale and Sheri's. Everyone was there. We opened gifts and then we gave Gale, Sheri, and Amanda a gift to 'tell' them they were going to be Grandparents and an Aunt for the first time. I think back with fondness on the special meal that Sheri put on for us. We ate by candle light. It was very special, very cozy and a wonderful memory.
Now it's YOUR turn! No, you don't have to share as much as I did. Those are three wonderful memories I have.

One of the special memories that I have are the Christmas programs, plays and concerts.
When you and Matt and Phil were in school programs your school would have the same program twice, once in the morning and once in the afternoon. I would clear my schedule so I could attend them both even though they were both the same.
I loved going to the Madrigal Dinner and the concerts at school and the programs at church and school.
On Monday we are going to Caleb and Wyatt's Christmas program at school. YEAH !!! I never dreamt that we would get to attend any of our grandkids programs - what a gift!
