2 Weeks left.

Well...we are down to the last 2 weeks of Jason being gone. I know some people have had way more time with their hubby gone, but I am sooooo ready for Jason to be home. I am so very thankful for the weekends when he's home so we can re-group and get re-energized before he leaves again. The kids have done super with him gone. They are ready for him to be home for a long time, though. So, today's the start of my second to last Monday without him here. I feel down already about it and it is only Monday. So, I've been trying to apply the verse that says 'what ever is true/just/pure/etc...think on these things' rather than on the little things that are bothering me that don't need to occupy my time. Just like our Pastor taught us last night: the things we occupy our mind with will be the things we act out. So, my prayer is to occupy my mind with positive and uplifting true things so I am positive and uplifting. When Jason gets home next Friday we are going to have a party waiting for him to celebrate the final of his 5 weeks. And, the firm also throws a big party on April 15th to celebrate and show appreciation for all the hard work the employees have done. We are MUCH looking forward to that. God really did provide a wonderful job for Jason. And great boss. Already my spirit is lifting.

Hang in there! When the kids were little we, too, energized on the weekends when Gale was home. There's a lot to be said in the saying, "Absence makes the heart grow fonder."

I will be praying for ya, that it just flies by. If you need anything let me know. I would love to get together maybe next week if Peter is better. That would help a little I guess.

I don't know how you are doing it! The week I had without Tod was not so fun, but I'm sure only by the grace of God are you making it through 5! I'll be praying for you, thank the Lord for children!=)
