A love - hate relationship!

Yes, it began on January 1st of 2008. My new 'resolve' to exercise more. I have my treadmill, of which I truly am thankful to have. My goal is to walk 5 days a week for a 1/2 hour each day. That is what Dr. Oz (from the Oprah show) says to do for a healthy heart (or is it 6 days...anyway, I am sticking to 5). So, I have been doing my 5 days a week a 1/2 hour a day AND Pilates each of those 5 days! Aren't you proud? The reason it's a love - hate relationship? I hate exercising. I love the results and I love the energy and how I feel when I'm done, but I nearly hate every minute of it. I enjoy walking outdoors better because there is more to see than just the white wall in front of me, but I have fixed that with working on a memory verse, praying for others, and just thinking. The reason I am glad to have my treadmill is because I am a very fair weather exerciser: I don't go out if it's too cold, too hot, raining hard or just sprinkling. I don't go if it's too windy, too early or too late in the day. So, with my treadmill I have no excuses... unless, of course, it's raining in here, or too hot, or too cold, or too early, or too late....

The joys of the Holidays and the thoughts of summer the enter the mind.....yeah, not really ready for that yet!=) I haven't been working out like I should the last month or so, life seems to get to busy! But, today is the start of a new week and I am feeling the work out I did this morning already!
