This was too funny not to blog about! The girls were outside playing in their 'sand box'. I gave them spoons and knives as they like to dig or 'bake' something. Pretty soon Bailey comes to the door and says 'Mom, look!' I look and there on her knife is a worm. I said, 'Yuck! You can throw that out there.' 'No, I want to keep it. I named her Maddie.' I laughed because it was so funny and because it reminded me of myself when I was little. After a huge rain storm I went out to the street and collected a ton of worms. There were so many I just named them all 'George'.
Then, a little later she came to the door and said, 'Mom, do you have something I can fix this with?' Bailey was holding a little something. I said 'Is that a rock'. 'No, it's part of Maddie. She's dead and I need to fix her'. I laughed again. I told her to just put Maddie back in the dirt and she would re-grow herself if she were alive still. I think she did that. It was just sooo funny! The kids crack me up!!

I'm glad to hear the weather is nice enough for the kids to play outside. It has been cold here. I'm SO ready for spring!
Oh my! The stuff they come up with is priceless! I'm glad you made it through, and that your hubby can be home with you! Nothings quite as relaxing and comforting to know that they will be there in just a few hours!
Kids have so much fun in dirt with spoons and knives. It is fun to see their imagination at work.
I like the name Maddie for a worm. It certainly makes the worm seem pretty :)
