Keep Serving

I was reading my Bible and was in Leviticus. Aaron's sons had been killed by God because of disobedience. The thing that struck me so clearly was that a few chapters later God was telling Moses to give Aaron some tasks to do for Him. What struck me was that God does not want us to stop serving and crumble when something terrible happens to us. He wants us to keep pressing on and serving Him. It struck me so clearly and profoundly that I wanted to share that with you. Have a wonderful day serving Him!!

How difficult would that be? I read a verse yesterday that goes along the same lines. Jeremiah 17:7,8 "Blessed is the man who trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is. For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful (anxious) in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit." Even when the "heat" is on, God still expects us to yield fruit and perhaps that's the fruit that really lasts, because we know we are not producing it, but He is. Thanks for sharing!
