I've been wanting to take Jason on a date to Barnes and Noble. I had given him a gift card for Christmas and he has yet to spend it. So, I decided yesterday to surprise him by all of us going there. It was so much fun. We were not there for real long, maybe an hour. But it was very relaxing. He bought a book and has some left over. The kids and I went to the kids section and read a book and they looked at books. I think we'll have to do that more often.Tuesday, February 19, 2008
Our 'Date'

I love B&N! I hear that they are going to be putting one in at Rapid. I hope that they do!
That sounds like a lot of fun! I hope they do put one in RC! It nice when you can do something were the whole fam can interact with each other and everyone can enjoy themselves!
Besides the library, I can't think of a better place to have a 'literate' family outing! B&N's smell SO good - a beautiful mixture of coffee and books. It shows your children the importance you put on reading as a fun activity. Wish I could go more often:)
We love it there too and before Peter was born we went there all the time. Have you been to The Tattered Cover since you have been here? They have one downtown which is the best and one in Highlands Ranch which is not great....It's old and very nostalgic. We love to go there too.
I've not heard of that store. I'll have to check it out soon!
