Home Mission's Conference

Wow! This week with HMC has been such a Blessing and I praise God for that! I was able to work with the Toddler 2 class (ages 3-5) and that was a such a neat ministry. Knowing that these children are being raised in Christian homes and that some day they may be the ones coming to HMC to tell of their ministries! Eternal souls are being shaped! I also was able to be in on the evening sessions. It truly was an encouragement to see the needs of Missionaries met. To hear wonderful songs sung/played that Praise Our God. I couldn't help but being so thankful for all the wise mature Christians. Not only the missionaries, but also from our own church body. A true desire to grow, serve, and minister to others. I praise Him for all that was done, the needs met, the Word preached and more!! I pray that we take what we have learned and that we apply it to our lives to further our growth in Christ and our ministry for Him. That it doesn't just excite us for a few days or weeks, but that it furthers us on for years! I am just so encouraged that, as I looked around and visited/listened, these peoples lives are not just a 'talk' of being a Christain....but their lives show their walk with God. I can't begin to express my thankfulness for the examples set before me in how to live a Godly life! Praise the Lord!!!

I have loved being in the middle of CBI and having the godly men and women around me! It always amazes me to watch them and see them grow in Him! I have known most of them for so long, that sometimes I begin to think that God's done working in them, they have it all figured out now! But, thankfully God is never done with us, and what an awesome thing to be able to see Him teach the "wiser ones", and watch them be teachable! What an example!
