Sickies...

Well...this week has been a week of 'sickies' in our house. Jake's still recovering and Tayler got hit with it Tuesday. She's been 'out' since...watching movies ALL day. Jake slept Monday and Tuesday away.

It reminds me of the verse to do all things without complaining. It is easy to gripe of not being out in the sunshine (as I have done this week) but I also was reminded that this is such an important time for the kiddies. They need Mommy to be comforting and to be there for them. I remember how my Mom always made being sick not quite as bad as it could have been. It was always comforting to know that she was there if I needed her.

Mommy's have such important jobs to do for their family. I am glad that God has reminded me to do it with a smile on my face and in my heart. I have complained, but am glad He reminds me to do all things without complaining!

Thankfully we are going in to summer, not out of it! There will be lots of sunny days to come and hopefully not any more sick ones! Praying that you all feel good, get better, and stay better!

I hope everyone gets better soon. I know that I'm thankful to up and around again after having the 'crud' for so long!
Give the kids a kiss for me.
