Mamma's Declaration!!

I declared to the kids this morning that this week is NO T.V. week!! Except Barney at 10am (if we are around and not doing something else). It's easy to watch too much t.v. and I told them we are going to use our imaginations and also clean this house. So, a list has been made and the work is begun (and it's not quite 8:30am). I'm excited about it. The kids actually didn't even mind when I told them. I did preface it with 'I have some exciting news...we are not going to watch t.v. this week (or movies) except maybe Barney. We will use our imaginations and also clean the house'. I believe making it sound fun makes it more fun. It's Mamma's Declaration of No T.V. Week!!
