Some New Found Revelations and Thoughts!!

#1 - Vacations usually leave us more tired and worn out than before we ever left
#2 - There are enough food crumbs on the floor after each meal to feed the hungry in Africa
#3 - Swimming in the pool is way more fun to talk about than to actually do (just ask my 3 year old!!)
#4 - When you have the gut feeling you forgot something at the motel...you just may be right (just ask me!!)
#5 - Never leave home without your migraine medicine (again...just ask me!!)
#6 - Seeing the Zoo through our kids eyes is enough to make you want to be a kid again! I LOVE IT!!
#7 - Having a picnic is fun even if it is cold and windy!!
#8 - Ordering pizza in (at the motel) really is a lot of fun (not a new revelation...but I always am amazed at how fun ordering in is!)
#9 - Ranch Dressing goes perfect with fries (Tayler NEVER forgets to ask for Ranch at the restaurant!)
#10 - Don't bother ordering hamburgers for Miss Bailey! She only eats the burger patty...as she says 'I'm not a big fan of bread'. And it's true!

This is a cute post - and so true! Our ladies' retreat was this weekend and I expect to be recovering all week. Thankfully, it was all worth it. Peggy Johnson challenged us to live in truth and gave us enough material that I will be busy for quite awhile. It was a real blessing.

Those were fun to read. But, what did you leave at the motel? You forgot to mention that.

What a goof - Bailey saying 'I am not a big fan of bread'. She comes up with some funny and cute phrases.

Ohhh...ONLY my tote bag with my Bible, my newest country living magazines, my book, and both cell phone chargers (rather important!)!! They'll mail it all, though. I'm anxious for them to get here.

totally agree about the vacation thing, but it's still worth it, plus pizza tastes so much better at a hotel and Ranch is the best invention goes with everything
