My Mom really is the Proverbs 31 Woman. I can not even begin to express my thankfulness for her example to me. Here are some of the things I am grateful for:
-My Mom does not gossip about others. I am so thankful for her example to me and how she has shown me the importance of not talking about others. My prayer is that I, too, teach (by example) my children this important Biblical truth.
- My Mom is not an idle woman. She is always going going going. I was able to spend a week with my parents in March and one of my goals while there was to learn, through asking questions or by observance, how to better take care of my home. I didn't even ask questions. I just had to watch her (and my Dad) take care of their home. I have since implemented some of their practices.
-My Mom reads her Bible daily. There is no better way to become more Christ-like and the Wife and Mother He wants us to be than to dig in His word and apply it to our lives.
-My Mom prays. She will tell me on a regular basis things she's been praying about for me and my family.
-My Mom is sensitive. She takes into great consideration her actions and words to others. How it will affect them, their families and whomever the circumstance touches.
-My Mom desires to serve God. She has the heart of a servant and wants to serve Him.
I am certain that I will be adding other items in posts as the week continues on. It is Mother's Day on Sunday and I really do admire and cherish my Mom. I am glad she is my Friend, but my Mother first. God has truly Blessed me, my family and those around her!

THANK YOU Leah! I don't think I deserve all of what you said but I do thank you - from my heart. MOM
What a blessing huh? I know many Christians that did not get that Godly example and still don't have that example. I am so blessed as well with a Godly mom. I will rejoice with you and thank the Lord for Godly moms.
