I always loved it when I would come home from school, or wherever, and my Mom had left me a little gift with an encouraging note for me. She is always so thoughtful.
My Mom was (and still is) always respectful to my Dad. She never said a rude thing about him or complained about decisions he made. What a great example!
I enjoy talking with Mom and when I am talking to her about something that is difficult to deal with she does not gripe along with me or give me her 'opinion' on the subject. She has a great listening ear, and gives wisdom when the appropriate time.

Thank you Leah! You are too generous with your words of kindness. I know of many times when I was not 'perfect' and could probably write a book about those times. I am thankful that 'the Lord is good and ready to forgive'.
