My Time...

Tonight Jason is at church with some guys to play basketball. He is such a gem and took all three kids with him so they could play with the other kids and so I could have some time to myself. I honestly can't remember the last time I had the house to myself (and being sick for three days and Red and Des taking the kids does not count as time to myself...which was the last time they were not with me...) So, I headed to Starbucks, got my 'usual' (of which I would like to branch out on, but don't quite know what to order...), headed home, changed into 'comfy' clothes, dug out my scrap booking items (of which is no small adventure as it's crammed in my tight closet) and have been enjoying listening to the birds chirp, the neighbors do what neighbors do, feel the breeze, and have no one at my side asking for me to do something etc. It's really been nice. And, now I am taking a break from my Scrap booking. I only can do about one page and then I need a brain break as I think of ways to do another side. I LOVE IT!!! My goal is to get Bailey's book caught up by the end of 2008. I have a ways to go (as I am only on her first year...) but I am thinking that when we have more space in our new house it will be more easily accessible to get things out etc. But, I hope I take opportunities, while we remain here in our little abode, to do some more scrap booking. So, that's my Friday night. Hope yours is nice as well!

Glad you had some time to yourself. Silence is nice. We ate dinner and walked to the park and played for awhile. Then we figured out we wanted to go the July 4th Rockies game so we bought tickets online. Pretty excited. I'm just excited to watch fireworks with Levi. Enjoy tomorrow's lovely weather!

Melanie...you're making me jealous!! How fun to go to that game!! It will be so fun to watch the kids faces when they have the fire works afterwards!

Yes...we'll have to scrap book together next time. I can't believe you got 8 pages done. I got a whole 3 sides done and pics cut out for another side and need to go to hobby lobby for stickers. My brain just can't handle all that thinking :)

Your evening sounds so relaxing! Good for you on taking the time to do scrapbooks! I've always wanted too, but I don't know that I have enough discipline to sit down and do a whole book myself! I think the whole digital scrap booking is for me!=)

I am overwhelmed by the job of putting Jason and Amanda's books together. I have Jason's started and am up to about his 3rd or 4th year - only 26 years to go=) I think my biggest problem is the mountain of pictures and lack of creativity! I'm proud of you.
