What's New?

Okay...so this past week Jason was gone through Wednesday. He got home Wednesday evening. I got sick starting either Monday or Tuesday. I think it was Monday. My Mom said, 'So, how many colds has this been now this winter?' 5,000. And they are not just a sniffle. NOOOOO....miserable and draining and on and on. Church skipper? Nope. Sickie. At least I made it to Master Club and our fun Sunday School Party on Friday night. (oh, and we Coleman's don't cheat!!! We just play to win!) ha ha ha!!

I can NOT wait! My Mom is coming the week of Feb 9th. She and I are painting again. Our room this time! And maybe one other...depending on time. Nothing like Mom coming to visit!! Oh how I wish we lived closer!! We'll have to get our coffee and scones in while she's here. And...she is staying until that Saturday so Jason and I can go on a Valentine's date on Friday night. Yippee!! I love my Mom!!

That's really about it. The kids are really enjoying Gymnastics. They are so fun to watch! Two hours of just sitting there observing them goes by so fast! They grow up so fast, don't they!!

Something that just cracks me up from this week is, the other morning I was changing Jake and he was telling me something. It took me a few times to figure it out but this is what he said (and I wish you could hear it...) 'Mommy...I am Captain' So, the girls and I started calling him Captain. Soooo funny! I LOVE how he says it!

It is so unfortunate that one always manages to get sick at the most inopportune time - maybe there is never and opportune time for sickness!! You and your mom are going to have so much fun. I hope you really enjoy the painting project, coffee and scones!!
