So, we went camping and had a great time! The first spot we checked out (near Nederland) was a bit 'rustic' for us. Driving over tree trunks and wondering if our van would make it...hmmmm...not so much for little kids...or me! Then, the spot we were trying to find. Set up tent, met our 'neighbors'...who helped us a LOT! They helped set up the tent and gave us a bunch of fire wood and kindling. Chatted with them for a while and then we had supper. For some reason campfire food always tastes so delicious! I even enjoyed my hot dog!! Smores later for a 'late night snack' and then to bed. Hmmm...FREEZING!!! Jason and I barely slept and the kids slept pretty well and fell asleep right away! Shock! All in all it was a lot of fun. Oh, and we sang songs around the fire and told silly stories. That looks like it was a lot of fun!!! Maybe when you go in July it will be a bit warmer so you can actually get some sleep :)
