I started a 'Flying Geese' quilt 7 years ago. I was pregnant with Tayler. I love every color I have in the quilt. It was my second quilt, first hard one, I have made. So, I decided to 'go all out' and hand quilt it. Needless to say, I am not done. Lol. Yep...nearly 7 years later I still look at it and know it will be beautiful, but the handquilting is tedious work! I was quilting some of it today and this was my thought:
"These geese need to land so I can stop quilting so many of them." lol
I will continue to work on it, but make no promises of when it will be complete.

I have a counted cross-stitch that I bought 2 years ago, and it's a life project that when I complete it will be BEAUTIFUL... in the mean time, it's just crazy work. I got discouraged after I had to take a bunch of it out... but I've restarted it and will one day finish it. I know exactly what you mean and look forward to seeing pictures of the geese when they are finally finished.
So glad to know I am not the only one with unfinished projects! :)
Oh, if you only knew how many projects are hiding in my closet that aare partly done! Not to mention all the projects that have all the parts and pieces that just need to be started!
