How will YOU host Easter?

I love to host! But I must admit, I didn't want to host Easter dinner this year. I finally told Jason yesterday. He asked why and I said because I am tired of making ham. Then it hit me: I don't have to do the 'traditional' Easter Dinner meal! Yay! SO...this year we ARE hosting Easter Dinner with a BBQ! Now THAT is my kind of party! Grilled burgers, bratts, baked beans, pies and an Easter Egg hunt in our yard!

Do tell how you plan to celebrate Easter Dinner this year!

How funny - that was exactly my thought process. I, too, am weary of ham for Easter and had decided that we would do the BBQ thing. I hope it is a nice day!

I gave up making the traditional meals for each holiday LONG ago. We've done steak for Thanksgiving and Christmas and I have a friend who has done Seafood (Shrimp, etc for Christmas) as a special treat. Do what makes you happy and less stressed. I think it is great!!!!

Kara, my friend does a seafood for Christmas and when I heard that this past year, I decided we would do something like that for next year. Maybe steak since Bailey can't have seafood. I am loving the 'non' traditional meals :)

I really dislike the traditional foods (especially ham!!). I would much rather have a BBQ, or tacos, or pizza, or grilled chicken, or soup...you get the idea:). I think it is great that you are hosting and doing what you enjoy preparing and eating!
