I picked this recipe up off of Pinterest. The directions are long... you know: add this first, mix this next etc. I just throw it all in the mixing bowl and if it doesn't turn out that way, I'll follow the step by step next time. BUT, it did turn out. It is delicious! So, put your apron on, turn up the oven to 350 and start mixing away! Your house will smell scrumptious and your family will enjoy the treat!
For the bread:
- 3 over-ripe bananas, smashed up
- 1/3 cup melted butter
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp baking soda
- dash of salt
- 1 1/2 cups flour
For the swirl:
- 1/3 cup sugar
- 1 Tbs cinnamon
Mix the Bread ingredients. Spoon half into a greased loaf pan, add 1/2 off the Swirl mixture, the second half of the bread ingredients and then top it off with the rest of the swirl mixture. Bake until done (again, I don't know the actual baking time, but poke a toothpick in there and test it out!
