D.O.N.E.!!!

Today I designated my school supply shopping day.  Which is NO small task with three kids, three lists, and too many stores to get the good deals at.  So, I decided to shop at one spot: Target.  Why?  I can get all of the kids' supplies AND their uniforms at one stop.  And we DID!!  We headed out to Target after a nice breakfast (oatmeal for me and cereal for the kids...fast breakfast is what I had in mind), stop at the Bank, and fill up the van and VROOM...off we went.

We got all the items, with the exception of a couple that I flat out refused to spend that much money on.  (Really?  $1/dry erase marker?  I think not)  So, we finished up (after a much needed lunch) at WalMart (shocking, I know, since that is my least favorite store to go to of all time).  Found dry erase markers at a better price. Paid. Headed to Office Depot to see if they could do an even better job of pricing their markers.  They sure did!  I purchased a total of 24 dry erase markers for $8!!  Paid. BACK to my least favorite store to return the markers purchased there and walked out a happy Momma who just saved $7!  Next stop: PayLess shoe store.  Shoes for Jake and Bailey were purchased.  Tayler is a bit more particular, so we will search for 'just the right pair' another day.

I am so thankful to have all the supplies purchased and thrown in our front room.  It really adds to the ambiance in the room, don't you think?  I mean, do you really notice all the sacks of supplies when there are moving boxes around and pictures off the walls?  :)

*sigh*  Mission Complete

That is a HUGE job completed and now you can relax the rest of the day - at least not have to go back to your least favorite store :)

That was a big task! Thankful I don't have to think about serious school shopping just yet.

Now my dear Lee Lee: did you really have to take out so much money from the bank that if filled the van? LOL!!
