This is our view from the back deck. I can't wait to take a picture, facing more west, of the Mountains at night with DIA lit up!!
A view behind the house/barn. You are looking at a lot of our 36.5 acres.
*sigh*
View from the front entry. How I LOVE all the windows/light!! And note the 'bar' that
we can sit at!!
View to give an idea of my kitchen! That island is going to be butcher block top!! Wahoo!
The girl's room (looking out the front of the house)
Jake's room (looking to the back of the house) He will get to 'keep an eye' on all our animals.
And...last, but certainly not least: Bob the Bull Snake.
He was in our garage when we showed up to talk with the Water Man (I don't remember his name, so I will call him Ted). Ted doesn't touch snakes. So, he shut the door to the basement and kept the garage door open in hopes Bob would leave. Well...Bob found a hole in the wall that leads TO the basement. Hmmmm...So, Bob is in our basement and we shut the door that leads upstairs to the main house in hopes that Bob can't find his way up there. If my Dad were here, he would have picked Bob up, talked with him, and let him go outside. Jason won't touch snakes, either. He called me the 'snake charmer' after holding one at Dad and Mom's place. Maybe, just maybe, I would be brave enough to catch Bob one day...with gloves on, long sleeves, and a mask on. lol

Great pictures. If you try to catch the snake, have a container ready to put it and close it at once. Youmight get harmless snake trap at a store. Be careful. Bull snakes bite and hiss.
