My friend gave me an 18 year old sour dough starter a couple weeks ago. This morning I made sour dough pancakes and they were scrumptious alliumptious! The kids ate them...even Jake. He ate about half a pancake. Tayler ate 3 and Bailey ate almost a whole one ('There's black on there, Mom'...meaning...a little over cooked) Anyway...it is fun to have that starter and I plan to keep it 'alive' as you have to do with such things! Mmmmm...Yummy to my Tummy!

Isn't it fun? If you are interested, I think I have a whole bunch of sourdough recipes. One of our kids brought some starter home from school and we had a great time with it until I neglected it and it spoiled :(
You're making me hungry. It is too late to eat though, so I guess I will have to wait until morning.
Those pancakes do sound yummy - especially if Jakers will give up his GERBER rice cereal for them.
