I was so extremely excited about this verse today. It struck me as never before! Read it carefully: Favor (charm) is deceitful!! Beauty is vain!! BUT a woman who feareth God will be praised!!
It makes me think even more about how we can get so preoccupied with looking great (of which there is nothing wrong with looking our best) that we forget about the most important part: fearing and loving God. Our heart! Wow!! I was so excited about this today that I just had to share! The most beautiful people are the ones who's heart is serving Him, living their lives to glorify Him. I pray that my foremost desire is to be pleasing to Him and growing in Him. That is what is lasting.
