8 Miles!

This morning I woke up at 6:30am to get some oatmeal and water downed before heading out on my 8 mile run. I learned a few things on this run: one of which was that I REALLY want this water bottle thingy (pictured) or one like it. I carried a water bottle, which was fine until my hands started sweating and the bottle got annoying to hold. I also learned, after noticing a number of people carrying large sticks, that I am going to purchase some mace. I think the sticks are for big dogs that may come by, so I figured I won't want to carry a large stick, but I can carry a bottle of mace. Anyway...when my alarm went off my wonderful husband awoke and said (very excitedly to me): 'You can do it! You can do it!' That motivated me even more :) I came home to him making his 'best breakfast ever' and was happy to eat it :) Now...only 5.1 miles left to get to a 1/2 Marathon!! Super excited about this accomplishment!
