In the mood to bake!

I felt like baking today. I put on my apron and started with a delicious new recipe: cinnamon chocolate chip bread. YUM! The kids and I enjoyed a slice after the girls arrived home from school. I also made up two batches of pancakes (to be frozen) and another new cookie recipe: lemon drop cookies! YUM again! I iced them after supper. They are fresh tasting. A change from the 'normal' cookie. So, two items in the freezer and one item to be enjoyed at breakfast and whenever :) I plan to do a little baking again tomorrow. I picked up some fun cook books at the library this afternoon and have a couple other ones on hold (Paula Deen and The Pioneer Women's new cook book).

They do look good. I don't think I'd be able to stop at one slice of that cinnamon-chocolate chip bread!
