I love Amy Butler fabric and patterns! She is inspiring for sure! I picked up her pattern book at the library and decided to make the 'Cosmo Bag' (featured on front cover of book). The fabric I chose for the purse is not from the Amy Butler fabric line. I wanted to attempt my first Amy Butler purse using less expensive fabric (though it wasn't by any means 'cheap'). If I mess up on this fabric I won't be as bummed as I would be had I purchased Amy Butler Fabric. Stay tuned as I get this purse complete (but it won't be in the next day... you know: I take lots of breaks!) I am quite excited about this new adventure!

How did this go? Did you complete the purse? I didn't know Amy Butler had books and that they were at the library. I thought she only had printed patterns. I'm going to order this book from my library. Thanks! Kathy
